I can’t find a dance class or event! What should I do?

There are plenty of ways to discover local dance classes and events.

Start by checking platforms like Eventbrite, local Facebook groups, or notice boards in your community.

Do I have to join a formal class or event to get involved?

Getting involved in dance doesn’t mean you have to commit to a formal class or event. There are so many ways to participate – whether it’s joining a casual community dance session, attending a free pop-up event, or simply moving in your own space at home. It’s all about connecting with the joy of dance at your own pace!

I have a physical disability – can I still get involved?

Absolutely! Dance is for everyone, no matter your physical ability. Many classes and events are designed to be inclusive, with modifications to suit different needs.

If you can’t find an event to suit your needs, reach out to a teacher hosting an event – and we’re sure they’ll do their utmost to help.

Is Let's Dance only on March 2nd?

While March 2nd is a key date for the campaign, Let’s Dance is about much more than just one day. It’s about encouraging people to dance more all year round. Even if you miss March 2nd, there will still be plenty of ways to get involved and keep the movement going! Check local listings and look out for events near you.
